Proverbs 31 Ministries, Lysa TerKeurst to board cruise

Lysa TerKeurst knows all about leaning on God. As a wife, mother of five children – Jackson, Mark, Hope, Ashley and Brooke – and president of the ministry based near Charlotte, N.C., TerKeurst helps to bring God’s peace, perspective and purpose to today’s busy woman through all the avenues of Proverbs 31 Ministries – its radio show, website, newsletter and magazine.
Living out her life according to the well-known verses about qualities of the “virtuous and capable” woman, TerKeurst is joining Premier Christian Cruises on the Girl’s Get-A-Way Cruise as a featured speaker. Her organization, Proverbs 31 Ministries (www.proverbs31.org) is also helping to promote the cruise on its website, radio show and other venues.
Proverbs 31 Ministries is a non-denominational, non-profit Christian ministry that seeks to lead women into a personal relationship with Christ. Well known and loved for her practical insight and godly wisdom, TerKeurst co-wrote the book, “A Woman’s Secret to a Balanced Life,” with Sharon Jaynes and is a featured co-host of the ministry’s daily radio program that airs across the nation and abroad. Besides penning several books, she is a featured writer for the P31 Woman magazine as well as guest writer for “Focus on the Family” magazine and Larry Burkett’s “Money Matters” newsletter.
She has been featured numerous times on Dr. Dobson's Focus on the Family radio broadcast, and many other radio and television programs such as the “700 Club” and Moody's “Midday Connection.” She was the keynote speaker for Focus on the Family's Renewing the Heart women's leadership conference. She is a certified CLASS speaker and speaks from coast to coast at women's conferences. She and her husband Art, who live with their children just outside of Charlotte, also conduct marriage seminars.
