Point of Grace Gets Ready for Cruise, Holiday Events
Band member Denise Jones with Point of Grace took a few minutes to answer these questions about the upcoming Girl’s Get-A-Way Cruise and other events:
Q. Are you looking forward to the Girl’s Get-A-Way Cruise in November? If so,
what are you looking forward to?
A. OF COURSE!! Who doesn't want to get away? We are all so incredibly busy, no matter if you are 13 or 65. Sometimes, we all need some time to step back and get some perspective on our lives. Sitting out on a boat in the middle of an ocean is a great reminder of how big God really is and that He truly can handle our lives if we will just let Him. AND, being with a bunch of women is a wonderful way to relax and have fun. We don’t even have to worry about what we look like in our swimsuit. AMEN?!
Q. What message do you hope to relay to the women/girls on the cruise?
A. There is a God who is absolutely crazy about them. He cares about every part
of their lives. It’s OK not to have it all together because none of us do. Until we are honest with our struggles we can’t ask for help because we aren’t admitting we need help. “Come all you who are weary, and I will give you rest.” May we all learn to rest in HIM.
