K-LOVE's Friends & Family Music Cruise 2006
Fall is in the air. The days are getting shorter, there’s a nip to the breeze and the first leaves are beginning to change colors. Autumn ushers in fall festivals, Thanksgiving and then – all too quickly – Christmas and New Year’s Day. It’s the shortest three months of the year!
It’s also three short months until the 3rd Annual K-LOVE Friends & Family Music Cruise 2006. This ever-popular cruise is more than 80 percent sold out already.
With a partnership with K-LOVE Radio and an attraction of more than a dozen of today’s best artists in Christian music, there’s no need to wonder why. It’s not too late to book your cabin.
You’ll sail away on Jan. 23-27, 2006, from Long Beach, California, to Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico.
Join Third Day, Salvador, Matthew West, Building 429, Todd Agnew, Denver & The Mile High Orchestra, George Huff, Ginny Owens, BarlowGirl, The Katinas, Jump 5, Joy Williams, Lincoln Brewster and more on the Third Annual K-LOVE Friends & Family Music Cruise. With music ranging from Pop to Rock and Neo-soul to Jazzy 40s, there are styles to please every Christian music fan. Along with nightly concerts in four concert halls, there will be uproarious clean comedy and uplifting Christian speakers to round out the renewal.

The First Annual Girls’ Getaway Cruise
One month to go. Hang in there, girls!
The First Annual Girls’ Get-A-Way Cruise has sold out! All the cabins that were reserved for this first girls-only adventure have been booked. That means more than 1,000 women of all ages will be onboard to laugh, cry, sing and just have fun together. If you missed your chance, you can be put on a waiting list in the event of a cancellation. Then, there’s always next year! Start making your plans now. Get your girlfriends together. Talk to your church circle or Sunday school class. Find those women who need a break just as much as you do. Groups get discounted rates, so the more, the merrier!
We all need to take a step back from the hustle and bustle of everyday life to refocus on God and recommit our ways to Him. The Girls' Get-A-Way will give you that opportunity.
An extended weekend retreat, this year’s adventure begins at Port Canaveral, Florida on Thursday, Nov. 10, stops for a day at Nassau, Bahamas and eases into a fun-filled day and night at sea. The journey ends Sunday, just in time for you to make it home that evening!

The Music Boat 2005
How do you describe a life-changing cruise? ‘Wow’ is all that comes to mind.
The guests who signed onto the First Annual Music Boat 2005 in September knew it would be a great trip. We knew that there would be awesome nightly concerts with a dozen contemporary Christian artists and bands. How could we lose with such spiritual powerhouses as Audio Adrenaline, Casting Crowns, Brother’s Keeper, Tait, Rachael Lampa, Mark Schultz and more!
We never wondered if a luxury liner would have fabulous food, pampering amenities, and outstanding service. We knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that quaint Key West and beautiful Cozumel, Mexico, would be just how they were pictured in all the brochures. We knew that the shore excursions – swimming with dolphins, snorkeling, scuba diving and glass-bottom kayaking, to name a few – would be experiences of a lifetime.
We even knew the speakers would direct their words right to our hearts and we would come away with messages meant just for us. But there was more happening on The Music Boat than all the promotional materials highlighted. It was an awesome, almost unexplainable occurrence. The Holy Spirit showed up “in a big way.”

Winter Wonder Slam Tour
Hosted by tobyMac with special guests BarlowGirl, Matthew West, John Reuben, Grits and DJ Maj, the Winter Wonder Slam Tour aims to turn hearts to God in a real way.
With tobyMac’s fist-shaking lyrics, this Grammy-winning artist brings social issues down to a personal level. Starting with hip-hop and moving through the spectrum, his musical style and lyrics are as diverse as his latest release, “Welcome to Diverse City.”
His featured friends on the tour also span the music rainbow – from the winsome sisters BarlowGirl to the boy/cynic John Reuben and from happy and historical Matthew West to the bombs in rap and hip hop, Grits and D.J. Maj.
There are no tickets to these jamming, music-packed events. The cost is $12 at the door with a love offering accepted. Can you think of a better way to get your youth group plugged in to the power of God? Can you think of an easier way to reach out to their friends and classmates who don’t know Jesus?
In the spirit of Christmas, concert-goers can bring a toy for the “Toys for Tots” collection. What a privilege to give needy children the joy of opening gifts on Christmas morning!
